The work runs through conceiving movement, teaching it to dancers, refining through rehearsal, and collaborating with composers, directors, and designers. Much of it is trial and error in the studio, building and discarding until a piece works. You're sculpting with living, tiring bodies, and the work is physically and creatively demanding, often on tight production timelines and budgets.
