Senior Order Fulfillment Specialist

Most days tend to revolve around the order flow and the issues that arise within it — handling the complex orders that junior staff escalate, leading process improvements, coordinating with warehouse, shipping, customer service, and IT, and serving as the experienced voice when issues need quick resolution. You'll often work with WMS or ERP systems, carriers, customers, and the cross-functional partners who depend on clean fulfillment. Progress shows up in on-time shipment rates, order accuracy, expedited resolution of exceptions, and team development.

The harder part is often the orders that don't fit standard playbooks — last-minute changes, customer-specific routing rules, international shipping issues, returns and replacements running in parallel with new orders. Variance across employers is real: a small DTC brand may give you broad ownership across the lifecycle; a larger operation runs specialized teams under different supervisors with a senior specialist leading specific verticals or customer tiers.
