Patient assignment composition shapes the day — three stable patients vs. three deteriorating ones look very different.

Coordination spans hospitalists, cardiologists, intensivists when patients need step-up, charge nurse, RT, and families. The hardest part is often the workload realities — assignments that can be heavier than ICU while requiring similar clinical vigilance.
